Swim Lessons
Here is a great chance to learn or improve your swimming ability. These 3 week sessions are open to all ability levels toddler to teen. Our teachers are Red Cross certified, and all levels are based on Red Cross guidelines.
General Information
- Ages: 18 months and over
- Session I July 5-22
- Session II July 26-August 13

- Level Descriptions (not all inclusive)
- Level 1 - be able to enter / exit water independently, submerge in water and blow bubbles, maintain back and front float with some support.
- Level 2 - Jump in to chest deep water, submerge entire head, back / front float for 5 seconds without support and combined arm/leg action for 15 feet unsupported
- Level 3 - Jump into deep water from side, dive on knees into water,tread water for 30 seconds, front / back crawl for 15 yards
- Level 4 - Dive from stride position,swim underwater 3 bodylengths, survival float for 1 minute, front/back crawl for 25 yards, breast stoke and butterfly for 15 yards
- Level 5 - Dive from stride position and begin any stroke, swim underwater 15 yards, survival float for 2 minutes, front / back crawl for 50 yards, butterfly and breaststroke for 25 yards
